Jr. Systems Integrator

Job Description:
This is an entry level position in which the junior systems integrator will have minimal experience with systems integration and is responsible for learning and training in system fabrication, rack preparation and integration both in-house and possibly on-site for promotion to a Systems Integrator position.  All integrators must uphold a courteous, professional attitude towards clients and other employees; maintain a clean professional appearance as representative of Professional Products Inc. and conform to PPI dress code; sustain an organized work area that complies with safety regulations both in-house and on-site.

Some of the responsibilities of this position include:

  • Learn how to read a cut sheet.
  • Cut cable to length, labeling, sorting and pulling cable.
  • Some basic cable termination.
  • Rack Preparation to include uncrating racks, moving power strips, etc.
  • Preparation of equipment to ship on site.
  • Assisting Integrators and Project Supervisors in installing equipment.
  • Assisting Project Supervisors with tasks as needed.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Some of the requirements of this position are:
The ideal candidate should ideally possess the following professional experience and personal attributes:

  • Must be familiar with systems components and have a general knowledge of audio/video signal flow.
  • Must have the ability to carefully follow direction and an aptitude for learning new skills.
  • Must be able to lift heavy equipment up to and at times exceeding 100lbs.
  • Must be comfortable with learning power tools; soldering skills and experience preferred.
  • Flexible schedule due to travel requirements.
  • Must pay strong attention to detail and organizational management.
