Systems Integrator

Job Description:
The responsibilities of the Systems Integrator include performing all integration and project related matters, both in-house and on-site.  Overnight and extended travel is required by all integrators.  The Systems Integrator is required to practice and maintain all company policies and standards set forth by Professional Products Inc.

Some of the responsibilities of this position include:

  • Responsible for facilitating all fabrication, rack preparation, and integration for assigned projects.
  • Preparing all tools and materials prior to project. Replacing all returned tools and materials to the proper location upon project completion.
  • Must coordinate all of the installation efforts with Integration Manager and Project Supervisor.
  • Must be able to maintain an accurate and current documentation package, including any changes or updates.
  • Responsible for assembling and maintaining an alphabetical filing of all manuals for client use. Separating, labeling, and packaging any hardware or connectors accompanied with the equipment.
  • Must uphold a courteous, professional attitude towards clients and other employees.
  • Must maintain a clean professional appearance as representative of Professional Products Inc.
  • Must be able to sustain an organized work area that complies with safety regulations both in-house and on-site.
  • Responsible for upholding an accurate time sheet, expense report, and mileage form for submittal to Integration Manager.
  • Must be able to comply with Professional Products regularly scheduled workweek. Employees are expected to work 9-5 Monday through Friday, unless otherwise specified. All overtime must be approved first by the Director of Project Management.
  • Must be able to travel out of town as needed per project with little notice.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Some of the requirements of this position are:
The ideal candidate should ideally possess the following professional experience and personal attributes:

  • Minimum of two years experience in the Integration Field.
  • Must be able to lift heavy equipment up to and at times exceeding 100lbs.
  • Should have soldering skills and experience.
  • Must have a flexible schedule due to travel requirements.
  • Must pay strong attention to detail and organizational management.
  • Must be familiar with systems components and a general knowledge of audio/video signal flow.
